So, armed with nothing but his sword Falchion and the clothes on his back, Marth set out from Altea to seek shelter. He lived on the streets for a while, scavenging for food, until he was found by Roy Pherae and Link, who took him in and offered him a place in the upcoming tournament, Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Now: Marth now lives in a small house nearby Miss Schmoopoo's mansion with Link and Falchion. Ocasionally, Ike and Roy come to visit. Marth cooks and cleans the house, becoming the temporary maid. He runs a local candy store, making him a little well-known.

Past: Jacob is one of the twins in the Shaddix family. His abusive, alcoholic father used to beat the two, and when Jay had finally snapped up at him, he was banished. He lived in the streets for only a short period of time before he was found by Brandon Flowers. Brandon took him in to his own house, a place where the residents learned magic. Brandon was later killed out of jealousy by his brother, the power-hungry Julian. Julian attempted to also kill Jay, who was the only other strong enough to oppose him. Jay was wounded horribly, though not killed. Ashlee, another resident of the house who had developed feelings for Jay, revealed that she was an angel, and in order to save him, had to erase his memory of Brandon and the others. She did so, but not before whispering to him that he was a vampire. He woke up at Miss Schmoopoo's doorstep, with only the knowledge of his family and his species. From then on, he was taken care of by Schmoopoo and the others, until he finally found his twin brother, who had escaped their father's house, Jaxisyr.
Now: Jay goes under the name of Coby, saying that his new name is a sign of his new life.

Like Coby, there was one day when Syrie couldn't take the beatings anymore. Except this time, Syrie cursed the man with a death curse. He ran away after taking blood from his father's neck. He found shelter with an older man, who's name he didn't know. The man gave him false security and raped him, scarring Syrie's life. Syrie soon worked at a bar for money, though still disgusted at what he was doing for a few coins. He then met up with Iwa and Nomiya, who eventually helped him find his brother.
Now: Syrie lives at Miss Schmoopoo's with Coby. He's still settling, and, like his younger brother, changed his nickname to Jax, marking the beginning of his new life.

Past: Years ago, Gray's family and whole town was killed by the infamous demon Deliora. His teacher, Ur, found him there, and he asked her to teach him powerful magic. She accepted, and at first, he was ungrateful. He thought her harsh training did nothing to help him, he said he only wanted to learn the most powerful magic to avenge his town against Deliora. When he learned Deliora was nearby, he jumped at the chance, though he was still weak. Ur and his peer Leon both advised against it. Gray vowed that if he didn't beat Deliora, his loss should weight heavily on Ur's conscience because she didn't teach him powerful magic. Ur immediately came to Gray's rescue, sacrificing herself and making herself into ice in order to seal Deliora. She told Gray to not tell Leon that she was still alive as ice, or he would spend his whole life trying to dispell it. Gray listened, telling Leon Ur was dead. Leon blamed the loss on Gray. They went their seperate ways. After joining Fairy Tail, Gray and his friends Natsu and Lucy went on an S-class mission to Garuna Island, where Gray was reunited with Leon, who was still out for revenge. Leon wanted to melt the ice around Deliora because his dream was to surpass Ur, and since Ur couldn't defeat Deliora, Leon said he would. When Leon finally got the ice to melt, though Gray and the others had tried their hardest to stop him, Deliora had already been defeated. Leon was devestated, and Gray wanted peace between the two from then on. Leon accepted. (Oh crap, too much detail XD)
Now: Gray still resides in Fiore and still attends to the guild Fairy Tail. He has an alliance with Marth, who had saved his life in a mission previously.
